I had surgery with this excellent surgeon earlier this year. I have NEVER encountered any medical professional like Mr Monkhouse. He is caring and considerate and makes all his patients feel special! I also found him to be very gentle in his treatment/care of me post-op. Mr Monkhouse has excellent personal skills as well as his exceptional surgical skills. I am very fortunate to have had Mr Monkhouse as my surgeon!

In these days of COVID-19, consultations both pre and post operation were held virtually. Even so, one felt that Mr Monkhouse could be trusted. The gall bladder removal on 19th July was not straightforward as the operation took 1.5 hours longer than expected. On the day he gave great attention to explaining what to expect, giving reassurance pre and post operation. The recovery period has been excellent and his follow up has been impressive such that any query I had has had an immediate response from him. I feel I have made a friend for life and Simon is more than worthy of the 5 stars given in all categories.

This man is hands down all about making sure the patient is cared for!! To give him a 5 out of 5 for his service I feel does not do justice for just how excellent he is. I underwent a gastric sleeve two weeks ago and can honestly say my journey was so smooth and I felt extremely looked after. If you are thinking about having any type of procedure done, You will not receive a better service than from Mr Monkhouse. Highly professional, treats patients with the upmost care.

I had surgery with Mr Monkhouse earlier this year. He is kind, considerate and very caring. I have never encountered a surgeon like Mr Monkhouse in my life - exceptional inter-personal skills and excellent surgeon. He kept in touch with me after the surgery (even on his day off!) and arranged follow-up when necessary. I'm very impressed with this surgeon both personally and professionally. 5 stars aren't enough!
